KCI Construction is a family-owned and operated excavation company built on a foundation of hard work, integrity, and hometown pride. With over 20 years of experience in the excavation industry, owner Isaac Ratz brings a depth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to every project — from small homeowner jobs to large-scale federal construction sites.

Before starting KCI Construction, Isaac worked his way through the industry, eventually serving as a superintendent for a large construction company. His experience managing crews, coordinating logistics, and delivering high-quality results inspired him to branch out and build something of his own — a company rooted in family values, community, and craftsmanship.

At KCI, we’re proud to involve our family in the business, using each project as an opportunity to teach the next generation the value of hard work, responsibility, and doing the job right.
